About Gretchen

Meet Gretchen! Gretchen is a sweet little 4 year old Maltese. She comes from a puppy mill where she was solely used for breeding purposes. She was given no love, attention, or affection for the first 4 years of her life. This lucky peanut has found her way to Freedom Tails Ohio where she now receives all the love and cuddles she's missed out on. With lots of TLC and patience she has really started to come out of her shell. Gretchen or 'GG' has been showing her true colors. She is a loving and cuddly pup who wishes she could be attached to your hip. Her favorite things to do include laying in bed right next to you and sun bathing in the yard! GG is very food driven and will nicely take anything out of your hand that you have to offer (especially cheese �٤'�) She is coming along on potty training and does not have many accidents. She does not like to be left alone in her crate or feel left out and will follow you wherever you go. GG is looking for her furever home!! She would do best in a quiet home with another small pup to play with and learn from but that is not required. She has not fully learned how to walk on a leash yet but with the help of other dogs showing her I believe she will catch on very quickly. GG does require a fence - I believe she would be small enough to slip out and should always be watched when she is taken outside to potty or play. She enjoys being attached to a long leash and playing outside with other small dogs her size. She is smart and ready to bond with someone who loves cuddles, kisses, and has patience to allow her to adapt to her new lifestyle!
