About Evan

Evan raced as WW Evandro. He is a 2 yr old black male retired racer from Kansas. He is young, playful and energetic dog that would do best with another greyhound in the house. He is a total sweetheart and very smart�'�| so smart that we tested him for our service dog program. Unfortunately, we noticed an issue with a rear leg, so we took him for an orthopedic vet exam. His x-rays are clear, but he has an old soft tissue injury that will probably need periodic treatment with carprofen. Unfortunately, the injury washed him from the service dog program. Evan's other issue is food sensitivity. The results of his blood work up showed that he has a sensitivity to all animal protein, so he needs a prescription food of hydrolyzed kibble. Evan's adoption fee is $300 due to his health issues. He walks well on a leash and is dog door trained. He does need a backyard because he loves to do zoomies. He cannot have any small dogs or cats for roommates. This sweet guy really needs a forever home as soon as possible. Let's get Evan his forever home!!!!
