About Ivan

Ivan is adorable corgi, (looking purebred but not a guarantee), 6-7 y.o. our best guess. His owner died so poor Ivan is looking for new home. His foster family adores him. He is shy but very sweet once he gets to know you. He loves to go for a walk and does very well on the leash. He loves walking on the ranch with his foster mom, he stays by her side and listens very well. His foster family would love him to go to similar settings with acreage so he could run around. Ivan doesn't care much about fenced in yard-- he won't potty there or go anywhere alone. So if you interested in him, be prepared to walk him multiple times a day. He is fine with other dogs but doesn't have very good manners (doesn't know how to play, he mostly run around and trying to herd them). Probably mellow dog would be the best since he isn't playing much. Doing great with potty training as long as you take him for his walks. He is nice to children but doesn't care much for them (won't interact), he prefers adults. So mature household or older children will be best for him. He likes to herd you and can dart through open door very fast so probably not good for seniors (can knock you off your feet if you are not prepared). He loves to run so will make a very good hiking/walking partner. He doesn't bark much, and sleeps quietly in his crate on soft bed. Ivan is neutered, just had dental, rabies and DA2PPV shots, HW negative. He weights 48 lbs. If interested, please fill up application.
