Luke Cloudwalker is the most handsome Chow Chow/Collie mix you ever did meet & is approximately 9 years young. Luke Cloudwalker was born with the heart of a lion, a valiant warrior looking for a family of his own to love and protect in his golden years. With his age comes wisdom, and his life of instability has made him slow to trust new people. Plus his poor eyesight has made him think that fingers are hotdogs. For these reasons, he is looking for an adult only home to retire in. Once he bonds with his people Luke loves to be the center of attention, so he's looking for a home where he can be an only dog. He doesn't mind sharing his home with cats though, they don't count as competition in his book. He is a happy boy who's goofy personality will shine through if you give him a chance, whether it's in the form of stealing your feather boa or playing a game of chase. Luke is no ordinary dog, so he won't settle for an ordinary home. While he still has a zest for life, his body does show the signs of his age in the form of incontinence. He proudly wears his belly bands inside - he's not ashamed of being a senior citizen! After all of the passing around Luke has experienced in his life, he really needs his next home to be his forever home. He is in search of compassionate people who understand that old age comes along with a little extra care requirements, but that's no reason to give up. Luke sticks to a healthy diet and exercise routine, including regular (short) runs in the park which bring him great joy. Luke does need people who are home more often than not, or who will take him along with them to work. He will follow you everywhere you go! He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, vet checked and microchipped. His adoption fee is $60 which includes a free vet visit.
