About Rooster

Rooster is 1 1/2 years old, full-bred Catahoula. He has been raised around children. He is loving and friendly, really just a big baby that wants a lot of attention. He loves to play, run, and swim. He's been raised on a 6-acre parcel with pond and has exclusively been an outside dog. He is very trainable and listens well. Would probably do fine inside too, with a little house training. He can be defensive around people that he has bonded to but he has never bitten or harmed anyone. He has a few times shown slight aggression around his food only (just a small growl) but usually is very well mannered and sweet. Probably something that could be easily trained out. With my husband having to work out of town more than expected, two little ones, and third on the way, we cannot give him the attention he needs and deserves. We hope to find him a good and loving home that suits his needs better.
