About Chaquita

Chaquita is a mature 6 yr old and is a near perfect dog! and she was minutes from being euthanized in a busy Texas shelter. She walks well on leash and will Listen to verbal commands. Very quiet sweet and charming. Rides great in a car. She loves attention and would love to have the affection of her human! We have kenneled her next to various dogs and Chaquita doesn't care as long as they keep their distance and don't bother her but we feel it would be best to home her in a place w no other dogs to avoid any problems. She is not good with cats ...wants to chase cats. She is positive for heartworm but the rescue will be paying for her treatment. Heartworm infection is curable. Her chest x-rays were good. She is so quiet and lovable. Please consider this little girl if you need a calm companion.
