About HATCHER

Treeing Walker Coonhound
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Meet Hatcher! He's an adorable puppy and is now learning to be a dog! You see his besties were cats before he went into a foster home and so he learnerd to play like his kitty friends, but he can play like a dog now and loves his foster furbrother. He also loved to herd the chickens at his last home, so he would do great if he had some friends who understood his natural instincts to herd and play like a working dog. Hatcher is also a little timid about new things so he needs a family who understands how to build his confidence and help him mature as a healthy happy dog! His bark sounds scary too, so we think he needs a family with older children whose friends won't be scared by his new things barking. He also loves to cuddle, so liking to cuddle is high on the list for his potential adopters! Hatcher was also recently diagnosed with diabetes insipidus, which just means he needs a pill every day to tell his brain to talk to his kidneys. He also has a deformed tail which is how the vet knew to look for something else! Hatcher is really no trouble now that we've figured him out! Because we are foster based, an approved application is required before a meet & greet can be scheduled. We think this is fair for our fosters and rescues so every meet and greet has the potential to result in an immediate adoption. The application can be completed online on the rescue website. Woof!
