About Perry

Meet Perry! This handsome boy has been with us since the end of April. We new hoped him from the County shelter and continued to further treat his alopecia and his progress has been phenomenal! He is an 8 year old Dachshund/ Chihuahua mix with a big personality. Perry is a goofy boy that has blossomed with the staff and pretty much loves almost everyone here. He is a boy that knows what he wants and will be sure to tell you about it! Perry can be people selective and will be the one to decide who will get to be his lucky forever home. He is good with adults but will need a home with no children. Perry loves to get outside and explore! Though he is a bit fearful of the leash and would prefer to have a securely fenced yard all to himself! Perry is a ladies man only only likes smaller (than him) female canines. Please bring any potential female canine companions to meet with Perry prior to adoption. He is great in the kennel and will not had an accident. Perry loves car rides and is always willing to follow you around for tastey treats (maybe bring some to make friends)! He will need a home that will provide his very own hidey bed and fluffy blanket that he can roll around on! Perry gets very excited to see his favorite humans and will gossip as loud as possible, he would not do well in an apartment environment. He is a very special boy that will need a very special home to tend to all of his desires (mainly hot dogs and blankets :P)! Perry weighs 15.7 pounds and is full grown. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, vet checked and microchipped. His adoption fee is $200 which includes a free vet visit.
