Bessie is a 5 year old Pit mix. She came to the shelter as a stray. It was obvious she had recently had puppies, but no puppies were found. She does have a right front leg injury--XRay reveals she has been shot and originally the vet thought she needed an amputation. She has improved and is able to bear some weight on her leg so that she walks with a limp. She is very,very sweet, calm, good on a leash(even with an injured leg), UTD with shots, heartworm negative.
