About Tyson

This little boy is Tyson. He was born May 8th and currently weighs 12 pounds. We expect Tyson to be a large adult, he is the biggest puppy in the litter. Tyson is one of a litter of ten and the only boy. This little guy has been outnumbered since birth. Tyson is the adventurous puppy. He is the first to venture away from the group and explore and the first to try new things. Tyson's mom is Izzie, a 42 pound Australian Shepherd mix. Izzie and her 10 puppies were dumped at a closed Missouri shelter at the start of COVID-19. The shelter reached out for help and one of our volunteers left immediately and drove to get her. Izzie and her week old puppies made the trip to Iowa to one of our foster homes. We don't have a clue who daddy was. Tyson has had his first distemper/parvo vaccine, is microchipped and will be neutered and have his second distemper/parvo vaccine on July 11th. He will be ready to go to his forever home July 12th. His adopters will be responsible for his last distemper/parvo vaccine at 14 weeks and his rabies vaccine at 16 weeks. Tyson is doing great at his house training but is a young puppy so his forever home needs to have the ability to get him out to potty every 4 hours throughout the day until�'��he is older.�'��Tyson requires a physically fenced yard to run and play safely.
