About Miranda

Lab / German Shepherd
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Miranda is a six-month-old, female Labrador/Shepherd mix that is already a star in our eyes. Named after Miranda Lambert, she has a blue bird heart and is very playful. This sweet girl is a very affectionate pup that loves snuggles and belly rubs. Weighing fifty-one pounds, she is full of energy and will be a large dog when full grown. Miranda is blind in one eye due to a previous injury and can easily be startled if approached on that side without a verbal cue. Consequently, an active adult only home would best suit this athletic girl. Miranda's disability doesn't slow her down one bit. She is always ready for the next adventure and loves to explore outside and check out all the new smells. She would love to learn a new trick or two; especially if she gets a treat! A fenced in yard is a must for this inquisitive pup. Miranda is already house trained and walks well on a leash. To keep her entertained, stock up on chew ropes, squeaky toys, and tennis balls. Before you go shopping, a word of warning! She's an expert toy de-stuffer; so leave those on the shelf. Miranda is not fond of sharing you or her toys and will need to be the only pet in the home. She prefers to be your one and only. Miranda is a special girl that would love to be your new forever best friend. To adopt Miranda, please go to hsnwga.org, click 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption' to complete an online application to be preapproved. Due to the high volume of applications received, our Adoption Coordinator will only contact applicants that best meet the needs of the pet.
