About SHEBA

'SHEBA' is a beautiful, 3 yr old, 38 lb. female Labrador Retriever who was surrendered to our rescue with her buddy 'ASH'. Sheba is a very sweet, submissive but incredibly timid & shy girl. She loves to have her belly rubbed, and to be touched. (She will pull your hand back to her chest to continue). Sheba is smart and orients strongly to her person, looking for guidance. She loves children, large and small, and assumes the uncharacteristic role of 'protector', watching over them as they sleep. Sheba has never been cat-tested. The most ideal home for Sheba would be one with Ash, or another dog of equal good, confident nature, so she can blossom. A quieter, gentle home with an experienced owner that understands time will make her blossom and come into her own. Sheba is spayed, fully vaccinated, de-wormed, on monthly heart-worm preventative, crate-trained and house-trained. (Her preferred type of crate is a cargo crate, not wire). This rescue does not do it's own 'shots' ... all medical care is done by a licensed, certified Veterinarian or done under their direct supervision (ex., monthly heartworm treatments &/or deworming). All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., probiotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
