About Tucker

Dachshund mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Tucker was surrendered to the shelter when the only family he had ever known got another dog and Tucker didn't like him around his food bowl! Ugh! Tucker is very depressed. He prefers people to dogs and is actually pretty shut down. He had never been trained to a leash or walked on a leash to go potty... so it is all new. His whole world has been turned upside down. In spite of that, he still wants to be loved on and sit it your lap! Tucker's ideal home would be a quiet one with no young kids but with people who can spend time with him and show him the love he seems to crave. Also a fenced yard is a must as he will not relieve himself otherwise. And no dogs unless an older quiet one who minds his or her p' and q's. Tucker is a very sweet boy and deserves a loving devoted forever home. Tucker is around 2 years old and a bit stout at around 23#!
