About Archie

Archie is a 3-year-old male White Shepheard is looking for home. Archie is a healthy, sweet, smart, handsome and friendly dog! He is warm and cuddly like a teddy bear and will become your best friend, who keeps you company, listens, and understands! He adores people and will be completely loyal to his adult owner. In other words, he will love you more than anything! This big boofy boy is very kind but not very brave. Not all dogs created equal and Archie is not an alpha. He stays away from bigger dogs and smaller children. He was hurt by both when he was a puppy and these incidents put fear in his heart. Barking is his defensive reaction when he feels scared, but he will come down when he is talked to and explained there is nothing to be afraid of. Archie will feel his best in a family that is kind, understanding and lives in rural area without other animals or kids pre-teen age. In kind hands, this boy will be a golden dog with good manners and all-encompassing love for his master. Archie is housebroken, walks well on the leash and will walk by your side with no issues. Adopters from Southern Maine, New Hampshire and Northern Massachusetts preferred. Available for adoption to families without young children (families with teenagers are welcome to apply.) and cats.
