(Foster needed.) Maggie is an 85 lb, 5 yr old, bull mastiff / staffy mix. She is happy, goofy & definitely awkward being a newly minted tripod. Maggie's happy place is laying in the grass, sun bathing, & going on walks. She also enjoys being pet. She LOVES other dogs & playing tug of war. She also gets along with her former foster's cat (slow introductions always recommended). She is potty trained & signals when it's time. She brings her leash & shoe when she's ready to go out. She talks to you however the neighbors have all said she is quiet. Maggie is shy/nervous around big men, unless they have a dog. She is getting better on leash with a gentle leader. She's a large dog so large dog experience is a plus. Maggie was found as a stray with her leg in a bandage that was clearly done by a professional. The shelter discovered that a cancer had eaten away at the bone in her paw and she was in a lot of pain. We pulled her from the shelter & got her to a specialist. Our vet had to amputate her leg. All her tests showed that the cancer seem to be isolated thankfully! She is looking for her forever family!
