About Captain

Meet Captain. An alpha male who loves his peanut butter cookies. He loves snuggles and belly rubs. Has been introduced to leash training and does pretty well with walking but does pull. I tried bringing him to a dog park but Was too worked up about other animals to go inside. Good with older kids because his size, small kiddos are not good. (He's not a threat, just a big boy and doesn't know his size). We have him on a diet free of artificial colors, flavors, preservatives, wheat, corn and soy. His new owners would have to keep him on that regimen. He gets wet food sometimes as a treat to mix it up. He loves his peanut butter banana cookies. He will eat apples with PB on them (make sure there is JUST PEANUTS IN THE PB, sugar is not god for them) bananas and apples are his favs. We do not feed him from the table but he will need to be worked with to keep him that way. He will benefit from behavioral training because he gets anxious when left alone. He's only ever had one owner. He is pretty mellow but will bark when there's people around he doesn't know approaching. He will need to have a fenced in fully secured yard. I would like someone who is older and established in their home. Please no renters. We would like him to go to a couple so he always has someone with him.
