[Read About Natural Cancer Care] Hospice home needed! Do you have a gigantic heart? Hi! My name is Fiona and I am a 7 year old chihuahua. I have had some bad news and I need someone to cheer me up by opening up their heart and home to me. When I went to get spayed, they found a mass and it turned out to be a rare form of cancer. All my friends and I hoped that they got all the cancer but it turns out it has spread. I have a mass in my spleen and another in my abdomen. I need to see an Oncologist for treatment options and recommendations. I have an appointment soon. More than anything I want a home where I can live happily for whatever time I have left. My ideal home would be a calm, quiet oasis where someone is home during the day and has lots of time to cuddle me. I do love being cuddled! I need a family that is patient and kind as it takes me a little time to warm up to new people and new situations. It doesn't take too long. Maybe a couple of days and then we will be friends. I didn't like my foster dad at first. I barked and growled at him but now I love him. My whole body wiggles when he comes to see me. I came from a home with other small dogs so I may be okay with a canine pal as long as they are gentle and are okay with sharing their people with me. I haven't had the easiest of lives and I deserve some spoiling! Because I can be fearful in new situations, a home without small children would be best. Fast movements and loud noises scare me and I can get defensive. I am just a little pipsqueak (13 pounds) so I need a home where no one will play rough with me. I love to roam free in a fenced backyard (just have to keep an eye on me because I can slither underneath fences, sheds, and stairs in a heartbeat). You will need to look-out for low-flying hawks too. Becoming a bird's dinner is not the way I choose to go. I walk nicely on a leash so I hope daily walks can be part of our routine. Crates are not my thing! Please don't put me in one. My perfect family will be one where I am welcome to join them on the couch or in their bed. Being alone is no fun at all. Let's make the last chapter of my life, the best chapter. When I go to that Rainbow Bridge, I want to go knowing that I was loved and that one day I will see my family again. Up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, negative for Heartworm and Lyme diseases, I am ready for a forever home. Do you have room in your heart for me? Let's make some happy memories!
