About Beau

Beau was dumped on the side of the road and found curled up beside an empty food bowl. Amazingly this gorgeous redbone with exceptionally beautiful auburn markings is trusting and loves people. Beau loves to swim, fetch, and cavort outside. This joyful hound with a funny grin especially enjoys being on the couch next to his person and hiding in the cushions. Beau is a ham when it comes to picture taking (ask for lots more pics), loves head scratches and squeaking toys. He is very sporty outside but mellow at home. Crate trained, housetrained, strong on a leash, Beau is eager to please and would respond well to training to bring out his full intelligent potential. Beau would do very well in a home with older kids and a preferably female dog to play with. This boy is about 60 pounds, 5 years old. He is heartworm positive and is finishing up fast kill treatment which we are paying for; no longer a deal breaker.
