About Winter

Winter is a lounge dog�'�|she likes to lounge around, waiting on the next meal. Winter was rescued from under a house in a bad part of town with a litter of four to care for in the freezing nights of winter (hence the name). The pups have all since moved on, but poor Winter is still searching for her forever. Despite her harsh upbringing, Winter is a straight DIVA! She needs to be pampered, requires multiple naps and has allergies�'�|she's allergic to missing meals! Twice daily food, at least one treat, and a soft comfy bed are necessities for this retired mom. Winter acts like she could do with or without you�'�|but she really just wants you to pet her all over and talk to her like a baby! She usually only wants to go outside long enough to take care of business�'�|then back inside for a nap and a treat, if she can talk you out of one! But she will lay in the sun for a while from time to time and even play (surprisingly actively) with the other male bullies, who can take her brash style of play. She is hilarious! This is one of those dogs with antics that keep you on your toes. She has piercing eyes that literally look human (I'd hate to face her in a poker tournament) and she uses them to tell you what she wants. Well, those eyes, her cute ears and that voice, when you just don't seem to understand her gestures. Winter is a smart girl. She knows her name, how to SIT and is fully crate trained. She will run through a wall for her food or treats! She does well on a leash and would love nothing more than to make her own soft, comfortable nest to laze around in her new home. I have a feeling she'll claim a spot on the couch, or may even take over a recliner! Likes: FOOD!! Napping Playing with other male dogs (occasionally) SNACKS!!
