I got a rough start in life by being left alone in a crate most of the time. When I cried and called for help the apartment neighbors complained and my owner surrendered me. I hadn't been taught not to go potty in the house, so my foster family is teaching me and I'm getting pretty good but I still forget sometimes. I love going for walks on a leash. And I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE playing with the neighborhood dogs. They're all bigger than me, but I don't care. I'm easy-going. My foster family has two small kittens and they like me because I'm nice to them. I haven't been around any kids, but I'm sure I would like them too. I think I could be my best self with a family who is home a lot. When the family is home I'm pretty quiet. But when I'm left alone I still get scared, so I really need a family with another dog who can keep me company when everyone else is away. Teddy weighs about 15 pounds and may have a little bit of growing left to do. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, vet checked and microchipped. His adoption fee is $450 and includes 30 days of complementary pet insurance and a free vet visit.
