About Rocky

Until further notice, to adhere to CDC's recommended sanitation guidelines and to promote social distancing, meet & greets and adoptions are by appointment only. Rocky is a super handsome, super sweet, super toothless snuggle bug mix who is looking for a super loving forever family. Rocky is a 6 year old Shih tzu mix who sadly came to us after his previous owner passed away. Rocky is a very friendly dog who just absolutely loves everyone he meets and deserves all the love in the world. Rocky is a very good boy who gets along well with other dogs, is kennel trained, doggy door trained, and mostly house broken. Rocky does occasionally mark at random and may need reminders not to. Rocky loves walks and car rides, so he will happily go anywhere he can be with his people. Rocky came to us missing most of his teeth and after seeing our doctors for his dental his last 7 have been removed. Rocky feels like a brand new man and is happy to show off his toothless smile. Rocky has lived with teenagers previously so he would be happy to meet any dog savvy, mature children in the family. Rocky is 15 pounds of pure love just looking for a family to give all his attention to. Rocly would love an easy going but active home that will take him on walks and play fetch! He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, vet checked and microchipped. His adoption fee is $260 and includes 30 days of complementary pet insurance and a free vet visit.
