About Willow

Adoption Fee: $250
Pit Bull
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Willow American Pit Bull Terrier Female 1 year old 59 lbs. Hi, my name is Willow and I'm ready to find a home with lots of love to give. I like to go on walks, play with my toys, and cuddle up either on your lap or on the couch. I'm the perfect companion to keep you company and I promise to provide lots of cuddles, kisses and endless entertainment for my new favorite human! I have had a tough past and due to that, I do struggle with my confidence in meeting new people and other dogs. When I am uncomfortable, I can be reactive with growling/barking or I can just show specific body language to share that I need space. Therefore, I need an adopter who will be incredibly patient with me, be committed to positive reinforcement training only, and to not expect me to be able to interact with lots of people and other animals until either I have made a lot of progress or long term. Due to my confidence needs, I can't be in a home with kids and I need to be the only animal in the home. I know that a dog who has some reactivity to new people will take the right human to understand me. But I promise I will be so grateful if you are that person I will sleep in your bed with you at night if you like to snuggle, and I also have a blanket that's mine. I'm mildly energetic, meaning that I'm just as happy to go on a walk or hike with you as I am to just sleep and lounge around the house. I'm very affectionate, smart, and I already know how to sit and lay down if you give me a treat. I can't wait to continue my training and learn more tricks! I'm a playful, cuddly, loving girl who's ready to be in an adoring home (with lots of bones and squeaky toys, please?) Interested in meeting me?
