BONDED WITH SISTAH THE GERMAN SHEPHERD I was on the way to South LA Shelter to save Sistah the German Shepherd. While there I had heard about a big dog that had been locked up for over 6 months. Rumor has it he had been dumped because his owner wanted him to be a ferocious guard dog, Rocco however had other plans as all he wanted to do was love everyone he met. I was blown away when I took him out and got to know him so I convinced my boss to let me pull both Sistah the German Shep and Big Rocco! Rocco (6-7 yrs old) has been fostered for a couple months now. He lives with a small dog, a Doberman, a German Shepherd, kids, and a Husky. Rocco is one of the sweetest, gentlest dogs around. Rocco looking for a forever home that has a heart as big as his! From Rocco's current foster mom: A gentle giant! Loves to sleep by your bed side and will protect you to the end. Will chew your sneakers if left out in the open! Friendly with all dogs and also with children. He isn't fond of cats.
