Austin is a very timid, scared little guy who was trapped by animal control in another part of the state. He had been fending for himself and a nice farm lady would through cow parts to him so he wouldn't starve. She called animal control to try to trap him before something happened to him. The volunteers at the kennel sent out a plea to rescues to take him because he was scared to death. One of Rainbow's very good fosters saw the plea and went to get him. This is how he became a Rainbow dog. He is doing well with the foster and has come a long way. He is still very timid and needs a family with lots of love and patience and will work with a positive trainer to help him gain confidence to be the wonderful dog that he is. He needs another dog to help him learn 'the ropes'. He likes children as long as they are respectful and calm.
