Hi, my name is DEXTER ID#A4412337 I am a male, neutered, brown American Pit Bull Terrier. The shelter staff think I am about 2 years old, and I have been at the shelter since April 28, 2020. Sadly I am set to be euthanized in a few days. I have not done anything wrong. I just did not do well in my 'Dog to Dog evaluation' at the shelter. It might be harder to adopt me out to a home where I would be the only dog, but I I don't think I should be put down because of it....Can you save my life? I am a GOOFY BIG BOY, and just out of puppy-hood. I DO NEED training. Strong on the leash. I have a lot of energy but it could also be the stress from the shelter too. I might be fine with younger children. Many of us Big Boys that are recommended 'Only Dogs' in home, actually do well with young kids. We respect their littleness and can even snuggle well with kiddos! So make sure you bring the whole family to meet me. And remember I MUST be an only dog in the home. The shelter might tell you that I am 'not adoptable'. This is not true! I AM adoptable but I have to be pulled by a Rescue partnered with MCACC (New Hope) you would then adopt me through the Rescue that pulls me. Call 520 800 4633. they will assist you. I am only 2 years old and can't imagine that this might be how it ends for me....Will you save my life?... Love, Dexter 'URGENT' If you have no breed restrictions, please call ASAP = 520-800-4633 PLEASE NOTE: You must have an appointment to go to shelter to meet this dog.
