Duvalin was saved from the county shelter where he found himself lost in a sea of tan chihuahuas and came to us so we could focus on helping him learn to love. Duvalin is sweet, but very shy and will take some time to adjust. His current favorite place is hiding under a bed, so he will need a home with lots of hiding spaces where he can have his time, but also be forced to come out of hiding and learn to love. Duvalin is great with other small dogs and could benefit hugely from a calm but confident canine companion. Duvalin will need a mature and dog savvy family who can continue to focus on his social skills in his home. He will need training, possibly including house training, and patience as he learns. Duvalin is an escape artist who can quickly sneak through a small hole, so he will need to be watched carefully in his new home. Duvalin will make a wonderfully loyal companion to the family who shows him love and patience and brings out the best in him. He weighs 10 pounds full grown. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, vet checked and microchipped. His adoption fee is $260 and includes 30 days of complementary pet insurance and a free vet visit. To meet him, contact us at [email protected] or 602-944-2440 to set up an appointment!
