About Molly

Domestic Cat
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Molly is a sweet girl who loves attention. Her favorite pastime is eating and getting all the love. She's also vocal too! Molly was found outside with her litter of kittens. She had an ear already tipped, however she was not fixed. She also seemed pregnant but after x-rays and other diagnostics we found she had pneumonia. Molly was treated and recovered from her upper respiratory. Once we were ready to help her find a home we found that her belly was still distended. We took her in and she received more x-rays. At that time they showed some airway disease. Basically she had pockets of air that was causing her discomfort. She again was given antibiotics. We also gave her meds to help her digestive track.%BC Finally it was time to take her back in and make sure everything was OK. Guess what?! Her belly was nice and soft and normal. This x-ray did show a little bit of airway issues but nothing to cause any concern at all. She was much better! This girl has been through the ringer! Luckily everything is looking up!%BC Molly is a sweet girl but also a little bit nervous. She loves love but it's like she's looking out to see if you mean to do you good to her. We are wondering if she was abused while she was out. Obviously since she had an ear tip we wonder if somebody was being cruel to her. Usually an ear tip means that you are fixed but she was not. We are hoping that she no longer has to worry if people are going to be kind to her or not. Molly is FIV positive but leukemia negative. She gets along great with other cats and would be a fine addition to a home with negative cats. FIV can only be spread through deep bite wounds. Mutual grooming and sharing of food and litter boxes is safe! *We respond to all inquiries so please check your bulk or spam email folders if you do not see a response from us*
