Meet Oakley !!! Oakley is a two year old red merle standard Aussie he is 58lbs, he is up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm preventative and is neutered. OAKLEY WILL ONLY THRIVE IN A HIGHLY ACTIVE HOME WHERE HE CAN WORK ON A FARM AND /OR BE INVOLVED IN DISC, AGILITY ETC. HE WILL NOT DO WELL IN THE AVERAGE HOME. NO CATS, SMALL DOGS OR SMALL CHILDREN. Oakley is a working bred Australian Shepherd and has to have a job or he will make his own job to keep himself busy and that gets him into trouble. Oakley is an awesome disk or agility dog prospect. He would also do great on a working farm doing what he was bred to do. Oakley needs a forever family that understands drive in competition dogs and is a confident leader as he will become the leader if given the chance! Oakley is currently being fostered with a trainer to work on focus and some advanced obedience. Oakley with the proper exercise and mental stimulation does have a cuddly and chill side and loves to cuddle! Oakley is great on outings and a social butterfly. If you are looking for that dream dog to excel in a performance dog sport this may be your prospect!!! No children, teens over 12 are OK Fenced yard (no electronic fence) Working Dog experience a must Location within 2 hrs of Oakley's location to continue training with his professional trainer or will consider further to perfect home.
