Bear is a great traveling companion and does well in the car. After some exercise, Bear's favorite part of the day is curling up on the couch with you or maybe even trying to lay in your lap (he thinks he's small enough to be a lap dog). Bear has been learning his manners and even knows the word 'wait' and he will patiently wait at the door until told 'let's go'. Bear is very smart and not only loves physical exercise but mental stimulation as well. Bear has a history of being uncomfortable around small children. His signs of discomfort were not respected and he did resort to growling and snapping at the young children in a previous home. Just like us humans dogs can also express discomfort and fear and boundaries must be respected. Bear would be best suited in an active, adult only home.
