About Shadow

***PLEASE READ*** REQUIREMENTS TO ADOPT SHADOW: *Must live within 30 miles of Murrieta, CA *Must be dog-savvy/experience in Shy/Flight Risk dogs *FULLY Fenced, Secured yard *Minimum 6 foot fence *Another medium/large active and playful dog *Patience and a chance to come out of her shell and bond with you *NO ACREAGE Shadow is 1 �%BD years old and weighs about 75 lbs. She is such a sweet and loving girl but she is VERY shy around strangers and will require more time, patience, and love than others for her to come out of her shell and bond with you. But once you give her that time, she blossoms into a very happy and fun girl! She would love a home that will take her on long walks or hikes and then when you get back home, she is so ready for cuddles and lovin's. Due to her shy nature, she will require a dog-savvy home and experience in high fligh risk dogs - meaning if she gets the chance to get lost (slipping out of collar, door or gate left open, not secure when car door opens for a few examples), then she will run as fast and as far as she can to get away from whatever she is afraid of or spooked her. She is a great pup, but not for first-time dog owners or someone expecting an immediate bond. She is great with other dogs and is very well socialized with dogs of all ages, sizes, personalities, and more. She has not been around cats or children yet but we do not recommend young children for her as they may scare and overwhelm her. She's ready for to join your family and just wants to give you all the love and more she has to offer! She just wants a patient and understanding family in return.
