About Chai

Adoption Fee: $193
Japanese Chin / Cavalier
Age: Adult
Sex: Male

We are changing the way we do adoptions due to the virus going around. Step one is to fill out an application at Tailsofrescue.org under dog application. Step two will email or call and answer and ask a few questions. Step three set up a time to meet the dog at Tails of Rescue Store (981 Lake Blvd Redding CA) will be meeting OUTSIDE only. All of our animals our in foster care at night. We do at times use the store as daycare to keep everyone friendly with each other so not adding people not fostering into the store. This is very different than how we have ever done adoptions so we might have a few hiccups here and there. He is a six-year-old neutered male You are going to love Chai! Chai has been in two homes during his life and both have had major medical issues and could not keep Chai. EASY EASY boy! Acts more like a cat than a dog most of the time. likes to lay on the back of the couch in the sun and relax. Enjoys walks and does okay with the other dogs and most of the time good with the adult cat. Wants to snuggle and be by his person. The only bad habit we have found is it is hard to get him to eat dog food, he wants human food only. I would say no small children for this boy at this time. Adoption fee is $193 Neutered, heartworm negative, current on shots, kennel cough, and rabies. We try our best to match our dogs to the perfect homes and match them based on their personalities, not their looks. Adoptions are NOT done on a 'first come, first serve' basis, rather in the order of what homes are the right match for that particular dog. Our adoption fees are based on the litter or dog. This includes spay/neuter, vaccines, kennel cough, microchip, rabies, and heartworm test if an adult. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, you can visit our website at tailsofrescue.org under dog application.
