About Basie

Count Basie!!! What a charmer!!! He will sweep you off your feet for sure! He is a ray of sunshine on even the gloomiest day; he always has a smile on his face. Basie loves everybody and everything. He enjoys playing with his dog friends but hanging out with people is his biggest love! If you start rubbing his ears and massaging his neck, he will literally melt into your arms. Even though he weighs 70 lbs, he would really like to be a lap dog. At the very least, he'd like to snuggle on the sofa and watch movies; add some popcorn and Basie would be in Heaven! Basie is about 7 years old and is a lab/German shepherd mix but his personality is all lab. He's never met a stranger. Count Basie walks beautifully on a leash and rides quietly in the car. You just won't find a nicer guy anywhere! He would be happiest in a home where he wasn't left alone a lot and would also prefer a fenced in yard. Basie's adoption fee is $175.
