About Rummy (west)

Hi, my name is RUMMY - ID#A4383880. I am a male, black and white American Pit Bull Terrier, and I weigh about 62 lbs. The shelter staff think I am about 2 years and 1 month old, nd I have been at the shelter since Feb 20, 2020. Rummy is a shy, undersocialized 2 year old pittie. He is coming out of his shell some. When I went to see him he was sitting at front of kennel tail wagging, but shaking a little. He was very happy to see me, be just sits hoping for a home away from all the noise in the shelter. It really makes him nervous. He knows 'sit' and loves hotdogs. Rummy is super sweet, and he needs a quiet, patient home. NO young kids, please. He is scared of dogs, so he may be best as your one and only. Rummy does need leash training. He has been slowly improving, and will now seek attention from handlers. Rummy may be house broken, as he urinates a long time after leaving his kennel, and will defecate several times when out. Rummy is now at risk of euthanasia.
