Meet Cooper! COOPER IS BEING FOSTERED IN THE RICHMOND, VA AREA. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN COOPER, PLEASE GO TO WWW.MOMSVA.ORG AND COMPLETE AN APPLICATION. Cooper is a 2 å%BD year old Boxer/Pitbull mix, about 75 pounds. He is housebroken, crate trained and does well with other dogs when properly introduced. He is usually the more submissive one in the group and follows the crowd. He likes kids and has been around older kids. He is a big silly boy at times so he may be too much for little kids. Cats are unknown although with his love of chasing critters from the yard, probably not. Cooper can be very shy/skittish at first with new situations, surroundings, and with new people, especially men. It takes this sweet boy time to warm up, so he will need a very patient and understanding owner willing to take the time to get to know him and make him feel safe. Because of this, a fenced yard is recommended; however, he cannot be left alone outside. Cooper loves to go for walks and playing in the yard with other dogs and people and seems most content when he has companionship and interaction. Having another affectionate/playful dog in the home might be good for him. Cooper has had a lot of change and upheaval in his short life, none of which was his fault, so we need to find this boy a stable, safe, and secure place he can truly call home. If you think you might be that right home for Cooper, please go to our website www.momsva.org and fill out an application!
