About Emma

This is Emma! She's a darling young pittie mix who loves people and playtime best. Emma is almost 3 years old, weighs 52 pounds, and is located outside of Boston. She is spayed, up-to-date on shots, housebroken. She is currently on hypoallergenic food for her sensitive polka dot skin. She has been in a wonderful foster home since the early pandemic days. It's a real benefit to adopt a dog who's been in a good foster home. You will learn firsthand about Emma's personality, quirks, and needs. You will also benefit from the work the foster has done with Emma these past weeks. After a recent check in, her foster said, 'Emma is doing great! We found out she really likes sleeping under the covers so that's her new thing at night. It's so adorable!!' (Check out the pic of her doing her new sleeping trick.) Emma loves going on walks and does well on leash. She is very high energy and can jump on her hind legs like a bunny. Emma would make a great hiking buddy or jogging partner. She is a rambunctious player who loves running around the yard and chasing a ball. After playtime, she has no trouble cuddling up for some loving and back scratching. She enjoys sleeping with her people. Emma is a sweet girl who is looking for a patient owner. She can be nervous, so she'll need her person to help her succeed in new situations and in meeting new people. She does best with women, but if properly introduced to men, she does warm up. She gets along with compatible dogs, but they'd need to meet first and have similar play styles.
