Dexter is a good dog. Doesn't chew up shoes or furniture. He was not raised around small children so I'm not sure about having him around children. Once he is introduced to someone he is friendly. Proceed with caution as with any animal. Great dog, he needs a yard he loves to play and he's somewhat obedient and is still easy to train. He's 3 years old. He could use some additional behavioral training mainly for trying to express himself through barking, for example he may bark (at you) because he's out of water. He is protective of the family that is lucky enough to have him. He does have his pitbull moments and is not neutered. He also has a chip and all shots. I can no longer care for him due to the lack of housing available that will accept pitbulls.
