This absolutely breaks my heart to post. We need to rehome our black lab Elsa. She weighs 40 pounds and is an indoor dog right now. She's also very low energy and loves to relax and snuggle. Right now she is about 6 years old, we have had her for 5 of those years. (We rescued her) She's a lovely dog, and probably the most loving animal I've ever had, but she is growling at my infant because shes jealous that the baby gets a lot of attention she is used to having. Elsa loves older kids who can pet her, and people in general, but she's having a hard time adjusting to Gracie. She lets kids run up to her when shes on walks and they hug her and she soaks it up! She's a fantastic dog, is up to date on vet visits, spayed, and crate trained. She gets anxious when left alone, so she stays in a crate when we leave the house (she willingly gets in her crate on command). She is a good watch dog (will bark) but once someone is in the house, wont bite. She acclimates to other dogs in the house hold, but doesn't like being around strange dogs. She will assert dominance when first meeting a dog to attempt to be alpha. We dont let her play with other dogs in public because she gets fearful. I need for her to go to a great home. She's so loving and lovable (ask anyone that's met her), but we can't keep her. We will include her belongings- toys, leash, vet info, supply of her food, and everything else we have for her. She has had obedience training, and is trained to let you know when she has to go potty. She is leash broke as well. If you want to meet her and are in Oklahoma, we can arrange that. She is a lovable dog, and I'm sure if you meet her you'll love her as much as we do.
