About chase

High energy Kelpie not suited for our family. Very sweet dog but has some issues. Chase is about 1 1/2 years old. He weighs 35 lbs. He spent a third of his life in a shelter which has affected him negatively. Chase seems ok with larger dogs and lives with a Rottweiler with no problems. He has tried to fence fight smaller dogs next door. He is not ok with cats and has attacked my little cat twice. He seems to have issues with Men entering his space. He has bit a man and tried to bite my teenage son. I got bit when I intervened. He gets along well with my husband and I and can be very sweet and loving, He needs extensive exercise, which we are unable to provide. He will make an excellent hiking or jogging buddy. He is leash trained and crate trained. No food aggression. He gets mouthy when excited and tries to herd the Rottweiler. Chase would do well on a ranch or farm with room to roam, or with a family that is very active.
