About Hoozie

Her name is Persephone (my daughter named her that), but no one could remember or pronouce it so it morphed into 'Hoozie', as in, 'Come here Hoozie whaterver your name is?' She's a full bred Pembroke Corgi and is the typical high energy, smart, and vocal Corgi. She's extremely affectionate and desires to be at your side a LOT. She's good with other dogs, but she is territorial and you have to watch her with 'marking'. This dog can be indoors, but she really needs some outdoor runaround time as well. Corgis are cattle hearding dogs at their core and love to have space to burn off energy. She doesn't run away and minds commands from whoever she thinks the 'Boss' is. My daughter and I cannot care for her like she needs because we are moving and the living arrangments won't be good for this dog (Translation :We're not going to have much space) We've had her since last Spring and love her, but I don't want to kennel this dog, which is what we'll have to do once we move if she's still with us.
