SAY HELLO TO GLENDA ! Glenda is a beautiful 18 month old Miniature Poodle girl. Weighing in at just 12 pounds, Glenda is a gentle and kind little lady. Glenda came to us rescued from the streets as a stray. She was found with 2 other dogs roaming the streets of Phoenix. She was badly matted and was friendly when we met her. but was not very well socialized initially. She has such a sweet personality that is just beginning to emerge. We think she likely belonged to a backyard breeder and may have lived outside for the majority of her little life. She is now very personable and gets along with most of the other dogs. One eye is permanently damaged due to the neglect from an untreated ulcer. Her vision seems normal but we're sure there is some loss of her vision. The eye requires drops for dry eye and could be removed at the adopters discretion if they so choose. She now has a beautiful black and white coat, loves walks and treats and everyone she meets. Glenda does well with all other dogs and would be a great addition to a semi-active family. Her ideal family will be adults or adults with kids over the age of 11 who have gentle respectful hands as well as supervised guidance with small breed dogs like Glenda. Another smaller breed dog of like age and friendly personality already in the family would be wonderful for companionship and socialization. Glenda is working on her house training and will need continued consistent gentle guidance and patience as she learns and adjusts to her new family's routine. Glenda is a longer coated curly breed that will require regular brushing as well as professional grooming every 6 to 8 weeks. Glenda's adoption fee is $ 450.00 This fee includes her Veterinarian Wellness check while here at the rescue, her spay, all vaccinations including rabies and bordatella, de-worming, a pre-adoption professional groom and a microchip with lifetime membership. Glenda will also have a new collar and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality grain free kibble that she has been eating. Her adoption fee also allows us the ability to put funds towards the next little one in need of rescue!
