She's a 3ish year old beagle/lab/pit mix. Fully vetted and healthy. She's not hyper but she's got some good energy. Loves to run around in the backyard and go for walks. She needs some leash training. She gets overly 'interested' when someone on a walk approaches her. She's very loyal and sweet. She's just a bit hesitant of strangers. It takes her a minute to realize they're OK. She came from a pretty sad situation. She was found basically starving. Our best guess is that she was dumped. She was chipped but her previous owner didn't want her anymore. So it's no wonder that she's a little bit suspicious of people she doesn't know. We don't know how long she was running the streets, fending for herself, she's great with other dogs. Although she currently only lives with small dogs. So not sure how she is around large dogs. She's not good with cats. We call her our mama dog. Whenever our rescue gets a new dog, she's the first one to go say hi and welcome them to the pack, she's fine with kids but she sometimes jumps and is stocky so would be best in a home with no small children, just so she doesn't jump up and knock them down.
