About Maxie

We need your help in finding this boy his forever home! A foster is immediately needed for him right now. Maxie is totally adorable! Upon seeing him, your first inclination is to want to hug him, scratch him, and grab his beautiful little face in your hands to kiss as he is so cute and cuddly. But, Maxie, however, is a very serious little Chow Chow who is not overly fond of being touched and handled without a purpose. He's tolerant of being bathed and a limited amount of petting and scratching. His favorite things to do include neighborhood walks, going places with his person and seeing new sights. He's up for any adventure. He needs an experienced chow person who understands his temperament and personality. He is a wonderful companion dog but not a lap dog.
