About Menelaus

Menelaus is a 5-year-old boxer pit mix that came to me from a neglected home life. He is looking for a new life in a home with a big yard to play in. He needs a lot of exercise and is currently on anxiety medication. We think if he had more activity he could be weaned off the meds. He knows his basic commands and wants to be a good boy. As you see from the video, he really likes it when you play with him. He has never been around young children so he is likely too rough and he jumps. I have not felt comfortable with letting him run with other dogs but he does like to meet them through the fence when I take him to the dog park and will enjoy meeting them at the pet store. Menelaus would be a great pet for someone who had some time and energy to put into working with him, socializing him and playing with him. If you can offer this to him, he will be a wonderful best friend!
