About Rock

Urgent!! Being completely overlooked and will soon disappear!! Will be killed for space completely unnoticed. 'Rock is 5 yr. and was surrendered to us and we really have no reason why he was given up. His previous owner noted he lived with children & other dogs, no complaints other than he has no time for Rock. So, Rock is sitting at the shelter for no reason other than his owner felt he was disposable. It pains us because he's a wonderful boy and still has many years of love to give to a family. Rock met me at his kennel door with a huge smile, happy it was his turn to get some fresh air. Rock took treats gently and liked toys. We played a bit of tug and he ran after every toy I threw. He knows sit and did it almost every time. Rock gave me super eye contact and liked scratches. He's a handsome boy with perky ears; he's bound to melt anyone's heart. Rock still has youthful energy yet he's mature and has the basics, just waiting for a new family to see how much joy he can bring to a home. Came in as an owner surrender on 11/7/19 and is available to rescues NOW. Owner Surrender notes: Reason, no time and can't care for him. Rock lived with children 3 mo. and 4-8 yr. It was noted he lived with dogs and gets along with other dogs. ' Foster or adopter needed urgently. Please share! Volunteers are willing to help with transport. Fostering is free of charge!!
