About Luna

Luna is going to light up your life with her passion is snuggling. Feel like binging on Netflix or curling up with a warm cup of tea and a good book? Then Luna is your girl! She'll be right there by your side or, better yet, in your lap--all 23 lbs. of her lovable self! Want somebody to keep you warm in bed at night? Luna's up for that too, but if a dog in the bed isn't your thing, she'll sleep in her crate all night without making a peep. Have a more active lifestyle? Luna would love to be your walking buddy. She walks great on leash and doesn't pull hard. And since she's just 2 years old, she comes spring-loaded and can jump up on the back of a couch from the floor. You can enjoy her energy and enthusiasm by tossing a Frisbee or playing fetch without the hassle of having to train a puppy. (She's fully house-trained.) She does like to chew, so make sure to have some appropriate items around for her. Luna also likes to play and cuddle with the other dogs in her foster home and accepts correction from them if she happens to commit a faux 'paw.' She's also pretty good with cats as long as they're being calm, but if they run, Luna likes to chase. Now, if the cat is dog savvy and brave enough to hiss and give her a swat, she will back off. Luna seems to like everyone she meets and does great with her 6-year-old human foster brother. Since she still occasionally engages in playful nipping (a behavior she's trying to eliminate), she might be too excitable for toddlers and preschoolers, but she would make an awesome companion and bedtime buddy for an older child who is calm and respectful with animals.
