About Cooper

Cooper is a 1 year old, 10lb little terrier mix. Cooper was surrendered to one of our rescues in Texas through no fault of his own. He was then fostered in Texas until he was able to hop on a transport to CO to find his forever family. When cooper was in Texas he was fostered with 4 other dogs and got along with all of them really well. He is a young dog who likes to play and still has that fun puppy energy. Since being here in CO he is being fostered with another small dog, and a kiddo. He does GREAT with everybody. Here is what his foster has to say about him: 'Cooper is a cupcake of a dog. He's a snuggly sweetheart and also loves to play. He could wrestle all day with my other dog and is excellent with little kids. Cooper is very athletic and would make a great hiking partner. He also walks great on a leash. He doesn't chew on anything and comes when he is called. He is gaining more and more confidence daily and is working on potty training. He does love to chase the squirrels in the backyard so he may be better in a home without cats too. Honestly he is one of the best dogs we have fostered and he has to go to the perfect family.'
