About Chewie

Chewie and I met back in late 2014 when he was just a puppy. His first year, I lived with my parents where he enjoyed a spacious yard and constant companionship with his big brother, a 6-year-old Sheltie named Zappa. Since then, I have moved away. In my current living arrangement and field of work, I am concerned for Chewie's lack of companionship when I am away. He struggles with socialization, and is territorial on the home front. It takes some time for him to warm up to new humans and dogs, but once he does he is incredibly friendly. Chewie has lots of energy and would love a home with a yard. He is incredibly intelligent, but can grow restless if not given stimulation. I will be moving in with my partner in January, and would like to see Chewie go to a good home where he has plenty of space to run and play and owners that are experienced with the challenges of socializing a territorial pup.
