About I named him Gentle Ben

Bullmastiff
Sex: Male

Gentle Ben is the perfect name for him. He is house broken, gentle with our 17 month old grandson, and our small pup. (She isn't crazy about his size though.) My husband attaches his leash to our grandson's stroller and away they go. Ben is very laid back, not the least bit rambunctious. He definitely prefers being inside rather than outside. There have been no inside accidents. He has eaten very little since we picked him up on Sunday. He had been roaming a neighborhood close by for a couple of weeks. We decided to take him to our home to try to find the owner. Our shelter says there is no microchip and no one has registered a missing report. He had a collar but no tags. He sleeps on the floor by me every night. He is a magnificent dog, and I can't stand the thought of putting him in a shelter with unknown consequences. Whoever gets Ben will have a wonderful large pet. I honestly can't say anything negative about Ben. Please help me find a home for this amazing dog. We are in Duncanville, TX, on the southern edge of Dallas. (I believe he is a purebred but not 100% sure since I'm not familiar with this breed.)
