Goofy, fun loving guy that needs someone who understands him and he will open his heart and trust to you for all the days to come. He came to me with a history of being a typical German Shepherd (weighs about 88 pounds) that wasn't given a job or appropriate rules, boundaries and limitations. Was acting very guard-like in the house and has even bit a couple of people when he wasn't being advocated for (unfamiliar people getting in his space that he wasn't comfortable with). Having said that, he has spent a good 3 years of his life living outside in a kennel until the owners surrendered him to me for my foster program. Needless to say, he came to me VERY underexposed and under-socialized. 4 years old Neutered Up to date on vaccinations and is current on heartworm & flea/tick preventative Crate trained Off leash remote collar trained Good on leash (slip lead & remote collar) Greets strangers nicely as long as they are not super forward and aggressive with their energies & intentions Good with other dogs with proper introductions. Unsure about how he is with cats. Located in Sturgis, Michigan. His ideal home will be with an active family with no children under the age of 16 that will continue to lead, expose and socialize him to things in life.
