About Donghae

This handsome guy is Donghae and he was found as a stray in Gangwon, Korea. He was adopted as a guard dog tied outside, but the owner sent him back to the shelter because he was too friendly and sweet! Donghae's guard dog days are over and anyone who meets him can see a loving, gentle soul in those shining eyes! He is a full size male Jindo mix, approximately 50lbs and 4 years old. He would thrive in a structured home as an only pet in with no children and cats. Donghae loves good exercise outside and lounging around inside. Apply to adopt Donghae! After meeting the dog or dog(s) you are interested in, get interviewed by one of our team members! 5. Hand in your application by 3pm the day of the event, 3pm is the cut-off time to physically submit your application and be interviewed, after 3pm we will not accept applications or interviews. 6. We do not adopt dogs first come, first serve. We accept all applications for review until 3pm and then make the placement decision based on who is the best match for the dog, not the human. We believe adoption is a privilege, not a right. NO OUTSIDE DOGS ALLOWED INTO OUR EVENTS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BE ADVISED: Korean K9 Rescue does local adoptions within a 30-mile radius of Brooklyn, New York.
